You use that where exactly?

Topic: Natural Cosmetics, Products|

Women rarely find themselves staring a trio of shaving products in the face which are all designed to be used at once. Men, on the other hand, tend to find more products which include pre-shave, shave and aftershave steps.

The Venereous Shaving Trio was developed for women who don’t want to be left out and are looking for the closest, most moisturizing all-over-shave that money can buy. Because there seems to be a bit of confusion about where exactly one might be shaving, we’ve created a little diagram to help you out. As you can see, the Venereous Shaving Trio is intended for shaving all over the body. The formulation of all three products is gentle enough for the most intimate of areas but we love using it from head to toe.

We’ll be launching head-to-toe shaving products for men soon, with a hint of mint in them to soothe skin. Don’t forget to put it on your Christmas shopping list for the special guys in your life. Only 113 days to go! We know they’re going to love it!!!

Another 5 out of 5 stars!

Topic: Products|

We’re thrilled to be posting about another great review about the Venereous Shaving Trio which you know we really love around here. I use it every day myself and have never found any shaving oil and jelly combo that I like better…but I may be biased right? So here’s what The Red Sneaker Diaries, a sexy blog written by an adventurous young woman, had to say.

Well personally, I NEVER wet shave with a razor because no matter what I’ve tried I always get irritation. That is, until I tried the Venereous shaving trio. I have absolutely no irritation. I was FULLY expecting irritation despite the claims of the product. Instead, I have smooth, blemish free skin. I am 100% happy with the shave I got from using these products. I think I might have to keep a supply on hand for times I need a quick shave. Oh, and if the price seems steep, consider this: one set of bottles is supposed to last about a year (according to the website), which I am inclined to believe based on how much I used for my one shave.

I give this product Five Stars. I highly recommend it.

Stiletto Diaries loves us too!

Topic: Products|

Time for another brag-fest from us. We had another great review from Stiletto Diaries which is quite impressive since the author, Shasta Gibson, doesn’t even like to shave! And although she’ll remain a devoted friend of the wax, she adds, “If you still prefer to shave (men this means you too) then please consider improving the experience by using these products.”

Shasta, we applaud you for being so brave about constantly subjecting yourself to the pain of waxing. I’m personally too much of a wimp to try it but maybe someday I’ll get brave and give it a whirl. Until then, I’ll be huddling behind the protection of Venereous! ;-)

Shaving with Pubic Hair Templates

Topic: Articles & Advice|

Everybody lately seems to be jumping on the pubic hair grooming bandwagon and you shouldn’t be any excepetion! If you’re looking for some fun shapes and designs to shave into your mound, you’ve come to the right place! We’ve got all the instructions you need here, please you can find over 80 templates to download right here.

How to Do It
Most people suggest using a rechargeable or electric personal shaver to obtain the pattern you want in your pubic patch, but if you use a small razor, have a steady hand and take the extra time, you can accomplish good results with wet shaving, too, which is what we will focus on here.

We recommend using a product such as Venereous Shaving Oil and/or Venereous Shaving Jelly because these products allow you to see all the hairs you’ll be working on and you won’t need to balance a template on top of a glob of shaving foam. With these Venereous products you can even use a marker to draw around the template onto your skin which also means you won’t need an extra pair or hands to hold the template in place (although that certainly could make it a lot more fun!)

Our templates are provided in several different sizes for your own satisfaction. Not every patch of hair is the same so we hope you find a style and size that you are happy with.

Once you’ve found the shape you want, print out the page, cut out the desired image and you’re ready to go. Print the pattern on a piece of card stock if you can, or paste it onto heavier paper and then cut the shape out. The main advantage of the heavier paper is that it will be easier to hold in place and work around when you start shaving around it.

Whether this is your first time shaving or your fiftieth, you’ll probably want to trim the area first with scissors to even out your pubic hair. This not only makes it easier to lay the template over but it will also give you a more pronounced design when you’re finished.

Once you’ve trimmed the area, spread on a layer of Venereous Shaving Oil and/or Venereous Shaving Jelly and then place the template on your mound. At this point you’ll want an extra pair of hands or a mirror…or both! This will help you line up the shape on your body to make sure you have just the right placement. If you want to use a marker to trace the template instead of holding the design in place for the duration of the shave, you’ll want to do that before putting on any shaving oil or jelly. One of the benefits of tracing the pattern is that you don’t have to worry about the template moving around while you work. But if it’s a more complicated pattern, you may want to leave the template in place a while longer so you don’t accidentally cut the wrong areas of hair.

With your template in place (or traced), start at the edge of the stencil and pull your razor away from the design. Keep repeating this procedure until you’ve circled the entire template but try not to move the template before you’re finished. If it does slide out of place, do your best to line it up again to avoid any uneven edges in your design.

Once you’ve got your basic design outline cut, remove the template and use your razor to clean up and perfect your shape. Just be careful not to dip into the shape! If you should get off course, don’t panic. In a few days your hair will start filling up the mistake and you can trim the pattern out again. If the shape doesn’t show as clearly as you’d like, your hair may be a bit too long…or too short. Try trimming everything down to an even length…and if it gets too short, just wait a few days and watch your shape grow in.

Do keep in mind that this is not the easiest of tasks so if you don’t achieve perfection the first time, don’t give up! We’re pretty sure that even if your design isn’t 100% perfect, your partner is still going to love the outcome and will appreciate the time and effort you put into styling yourself.

If you’re ready to get started, then have a look at our templates below. We’ve got over 80 fun and crazy designs, from alien heads and arrows, to symbols and triangles! Some will need a more skilled hand than others but we know you want to have fun with it.
