I suppose I’m a bit behind the curve on many web related things and I must admit I did learn about twitter when it first came out…but I just wasn’t really sure why it might be useful. But as a business blogger, I have to say I find it pretty ingenious – at least right now in the past hour I’ve been using it. Twitter is essentially just tiny miniblogs (less than 160 characters) that allow you to make random comments without taking up the time to post an entire blog. This is especially helpful for someone who may be out and about (since you can send the messages via phone and IM services) who just wants to make a wild comment back to their friends or blog readers.

I can definitely see myself becoming addicted to something like this and wanting to send “tweets” far more often then I probably should…but all of you reading this will certainly know what I’m up to every second of the day if I do start a routine like that! But more than likely I’ll use it for a while and then kinda forget it’s there…so all you twitter-ers our there – speak up and let me know you’re out there so I stay inspired! And who knows…I may have to start tweeting on a few of my other blogs as well!!
